In partnership with St. Tammany Early Childhood Ready Start Network, Agenda for Children is excited to announce the Seeds of Success Professional Development Institute (SoS). This conference event will take place on July 25th from 8 AM-3:15 PM at Northshore Technical Community College and will offer over 25 continuing education workshops FREE of charge to early childhood professionals working in Type III early learning centers located in St. Tammany Parish.
Registration opens June 1st and seats are limited.

How do I register for Seeds of Success?
Before you register, please review all of the information on this website. Registration will open on June 1st, 2026 and seats are limited.
Because this is a special event, you must register individually for each Seeds of Success workshop. There are two methods for how to register:
- Option 1: Open the QR Menu dropdown below. You will find a menu of scannable QR codes that will take you to individual course registration pages. Scan each session’s QR code to learn more about the workshop. To register, log into your training account and add the session to your cart. After checking out, return to the QR menu to add additional workshops for each time block. You can also click here to download a copy of the QR Menu to print and scan offline.
- Option 2: You may open the Links Menu dropdown below. Click a session's title to learn more about each workshop. To register, log into your training account and add the session to your cart. After checking out, return to this page (agendaforchildren.org/seedsofsuccess) and open the Links Menu dropdown if you wish to register for additional workshops.

PLEASE NOTE: Seeds of Success workshops must be registered individually. You may click on a session's title from the list and add it to your cart in our registration portal and may then "check out" to complete registration. Return to this page to add additional workshops for the day one-at-a-time.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to attend the Seeds of Success Professional Development Institute (PDI)?
- All July 25th, 2026 Seeds of Success PDI sessions are available at no cost for staff of Type III centers located in St. Tammany Parish only.
- Since participants will receive clock hour credit for professional development, attendees must create or use their existing Training Portal account to register for each session separately.
How do I know if my center is Type III?
- Staff should ask their center’s director about the center’s license type.
I see registration for individual sessions, but not for the conference?
- Each workshop must be registered separately. Participants will be awarded clock hour credit for successful completion of individual sessions and certificates will be provided through Agenda for Children’s Training Portal system.
Do I have to create an account to register for a session?
- Everyone must have an individual account to register for PDI workshops. If you already have a workshop registration account with us, there is no need to create a new one. If you do not have an account with us, please create one in our Training Portal. Your certificate for completed sessions will also be stored in your portal account, and is always available to you to share or print. Plus, you will be able to register for future Agenda for Children workshops with this account! There is no fee to create an account.
Will meals or snacks be provided at the PDI?
- No; however there will be a brief 15-minute break between sessions and a 1-hour on your own lunch break. Late returns are not allowed following breaks, and participants are strongly encouraged to pack a bag lunch and enjoy the facility for the hour while networking with peer educators.
Where is the Seeds of Success Professional Development Institute happening? Are there virtual options?
- The Seeds of Success Professional Development Institute is an in-person only event that will take place at Northshore Technical Community College. There is NOT a virtual option for this event. If you are looking for virtual professional development, please visit the Agenda for Children website for other professional development opportunities.
What about parking and transportation?
- This is an in-person event and transportation is not provided by Agenda for Children. Free parking is available on the campus for this event.

What should I wear?
- Dress comfortably in clothes appropriate for classroom learning: t-shirts, jeans, comfortable shoes, etc.
