Module B: Searching for a Child Care Facility | Agenda for Children

Module B –  Searching for a Child Care Facility:
Looking for the Right Place to Build a Child Care Business

Summary:
This module teaches about the process for researching a property for a child care business. Special emphasis is on zoning requirements and how it impacts the search for a child care property. This module features two perspectives in searching for a child care location: one of an experienced multi-site child care owner who shares the lessons learned about searching for the right facility throughout her 25 year journey in early care and education; and one of a brand new child care center owner and her journey through the New Orleans zoning process.
